Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your Hebua account and the personal data linked to it. Hebua is developed by Kife (Nairobi, Kenya).

Delete finance data and your account (in the app)

In-app erase removes your finance data immediately and sends an email so you can finish deleting your login.

1. Open Hebua and sign in.
2. Profile → Delete all data, or Settings → Erase All Data.
3. Confirm the warnings (finance data + account login).
4. Finance data is deleted immediately; you are signed out; we email you a link.
5. Open the email and tap Complete account deletion (opens hebua.app/confirm-delete). That permanently removes your login.

Deleted immediately: transactions, categories, budgets, local copies, offline SMS queue. Deleted when you click the email link: account login, profile, and avatar. May be kept: payment records required by law. Raw SMS is never stored on our servers.

Other options

• Delete one transaction: Open the transaction on Home and delete it.
• Stop SMS capture: Settings → turn off SMS auto-capture.
• Email support: support@hebua.co.ke with subject "Delete my Hebua account" if you cannot use the in-app flow. We complete email-only requests within 30 days.

How long it takes

Finance data: immediate after you confirm in the app. Account login: when you tap the email link (link valid for 7 days). Support email requests: within 30 days.
