Free plan works without SMS auto-capture — use manual entry or Smart Parser. Manual tracking and local data work offline; cloud sync needs a connection.

Is Hebua free?
Yes — manual entry, Smart Parser, up to 10 budgets, and insights are free. Pro adds auto-capture, unlimited budgets (more than 10), statement PDF import, offline queue, and cloud sync. Premium adds daily summary, Excel import, and more.
Is this a loan or lending app?
No. Hebua is personal finance tracking only — it does not offer loans, Fuliza, credit scoring, or lending. Your money stays with your mobile wallets and banks.
What about my privacy?
Data stays on your device first. SMS auto-capture reads financial transaction messages only — not personal chats. We don't sell your data.
Which providers are supported?
M-PESA, Airtel Money, T-Kash, and major Kenyan banks and Saccos — via SMS auto-capture and statement PDF import on Pro & Premium. Paste unsupported SMS into Smart Parser on any plan.
Do I need a SIM in the phone?
No SIM lock — you can use Hebua with manual entry or paste SMS on Wi‑Fi. Auto-capture needs those financial SMS to arrive in the phone's Messages inbox, which usually means an active line.
Does dual-SIM M-PESA work?
Yes for capture — if both Safaricom lines receive M-PESA SMS on that phone, Hebua can parse both. We don't split them into two separate wallets yet (one money picture per device for now).
Can I import statements?
Pro & Premium can import statement PDFs (beta) for M-PESA, Airtel Money, T-Kash, and supported banks & Saccos. Premium also adds Excel (.xlsx) import. CSV/XML export is on Pro & Premium.
Does it work offline?
Manual entry and local tracking work offline. Pro & Premium auto-capture queues SMS on your phone when offline, then uploads when you're back online.

When will I get the download link?
After you join the waitlist we send a confirmation email right away. When Android goes live (or iOS Beta opens), we email that waitlist with how to get the app — no spam, just the useful updates.
